COVID-19
As we move forward…
Our highest priority is to keep everyone safe and healthy – staff, volunteers, guests, customers, and the community at large on Martha’s Vineyard. For now, Island Grown Farm is closed to all visitors except by pre-arrangement.
We continue to offer free household food waste drop-off at the farm. Park outside the gates and look for the large plastic totes lashed to the fence.
Island Grown Initiative is following all federal, state, and local board of health guidelines regarding coronavirus safety measures. Masks are required at all times on the farm. Extra precautions for safe picking, cleaning, and handling of produce include a new wash-and-pack area and rigorous sanitation protocol.
We look forward to welcoming the public back to the farm – for workshops, volunteer projects, tours, and more – when it’s safe for people to gather together once again. In the meantime, let’s use our good sense, be cautious, and take care of ourselves and one another.
